A Seabright tradition since 1948…Gault Elementary School invites all of Santa Cruz to come out and enjoy our Annual Halloween/Dia de los Muertos Costume Parade and Carnival. Festivities include the costume Parade down Soquel Avenue and culminates with the Carnival on the Gault School grounds featuring games, food, prizes, music and trophies for the best home-made costumes. The money raised at this event supports Gault’s distinguished arts program and provides our dedicated and enthusiastic teaching staff with classroom supplies.
Project Description: Photography of parade and carnival, including the Santa Cruz high school marching band, drum samba troupe, parents and children in costume, games and activities, and Thriller performed by the 5th grade class. Digital editing of photographs post-event. Video production of parade festivities and Thriller performance. Audio recording of parade and Thriller performance.
